Natural granite

Introduction:

The granite referred to in architectural decoration engineering refers to a class of decorative stone represented by granite, including all kinds of quartz, feldspar as the main component minerals, and contains a small amount of mica and dark minerals magmatic rocks and granite metamorphic rocks, such as granite, diabase, gabbro, basalt, peridotite and so on. From the appearance characteristics, granite is often the overall uniform granular structure, known as granite structure.

Granite has dense structure, high strength, high density, very low water absorption, hard texture, wear-resistant, acid hard stone. Its chemical composition is SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Fe2O3, etc., of which the content of SiO2 is often more than 60%, for acid stone, therefore, its acid resistance, weathering resistance, good durability, long service life. The quartz contained in granite will undergo crystal change at high temperature, and the volume will expand and crack, so it is not fire-resistant.
